NEW FRONTIERS PROGRAMME
“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
The New Frontiers Programme aims to build the world’s best and most formidable leaders for the new business agenda. The programme is a 12-month, intensive leadership development where the best minds from across the country are enrolled on a leadership course.

The purpose of the programme is to develop young people as leaders that can excel in their chosen fields and have an impact on wider society. New Frontiers are young people who are assets to global society and play a huge role in moving society forward.

We don’t just want to recognise future leaders; we want to develop their capacity and equip them with tools to prosper in the present time. We will create compassionate leaders that are able to provide new, unconventional solutions to old and new problems.
The New Frontiers Programme opened my mind to new perspectives and creative ways of thinking.

THE PROGRAMME
Young people will gain various leadership skills through mentorship, volunteering, joining social innovation projects, local initiatives, and putting together a project to solve a social, business, or technological issue, or even learn a language. Relevant business projects will be provided by our partners in the community. For example, law students may find themselves working to solve a legal issue, working in legal aid offices or with the public in law clinics.

The programme focuses on teamwork and collaboration, so students will be working in teams on their chosen projects.

Each year, we take on 1,000+ young people between the ages of 16 and 21. Academic excellence is good, but we aim to move away from this focus and the old way of recruiting to instead give young talent the skills and resources needed.

Universities and organisations will receive developed and trained individuals that are accustomed to solving real-world challenges and providing solutions. Thus, we place a huge focus on shaping the mindset of New Frontiers.

Events will take place periodically throughout the year. The first event will be an induction for the cohort, and students will benefit from guest lectures, seminars, and socials throughout the year.
